Funeral Home

Our funeral home, located in Rectory Close, Dowlais, has recently undergone refurbishment. Now complete, we are sure it will meet the individual needs and requirements of our clients.

The premises have been transformed to include a larger chapel of rest where a service can be held and in addition to this, the furnishings and fabrics have been renewed to complement the new rest rooms that are available, as well as the spacious and comfortable new reception area and the stylish office facilities. 

The latest in disabled facilities have now been installed and there is a large parking area. 

We are pleased to announce that our new service chapel can comfortably seat up to 130 people, this, in addition to an area at the rear in which you can stand means that holding your services at our chapel of rest is now an option if you expect the funeral to be large. 



When designing our new service chapel we thought long and hard about the requirements of our clients and in doing so, we feel that we have created something, beyond different.

We at Caradoc Price, TP Griffiths & Sons understand that it is vital to create a personal touch to the funeral service, we know that hearing a loved ones favourite song played on either entrance or exit of the chapel can be comforting, drawing on many happy memories. Bearing this in mind, we have installed a state of the art sound system, allowing any track of choice to play seamlessly before, during or after the service. This, paired with a ceiling this is primarily designed to enrich the acoustics in the chapel, make for a wonderful sound. 


We have also adopted the latest in mood lighting technology, allowing us to offer a new option to our clients. Perhaps a loved one was fond of a certain football club associated with a specific colour, well now we are able to light the ceiling in a range of colours, adding that personal touch to the service.
